Washing Green
At River City Car Wash we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and strive to be the most green conscience wash in our industry in the following ways:
- Water Conservation:
We recycle the vast majority of our water through a sophisticated recycling system which enables us to clean a vehicle with less water then the average driveway washer. In addition, all of our landscaping is on a drip system saving on over watering.
- Water Quality:
Any excess water is diverted into the sewer system and then treated at the sewer plant prior to re introduction into our water system. As opposed to drive way washing which allows harmful contaminates into the storm drain system and ultimately into our rivers and streams.
- Energy Conservation:
We invested heavily in energy efficient equipment. All of our car wash equipment is controlled by a series of Variable Speed Drives reducing the spiking of voltage experienced by most electric motor applications. These devices reduce our electrical consumption up to 30%.
